Keenan Henderson
It just shows how up and down a long 18 game schedule can be in the Summit League. KC gave us their best shot at the Mabee Center, heck even some backup center hit 3 threes. It was the Roos night until Max hit the shot of his career. theeagleman5
UND smoked Kansas City last night.....Good Guys can hopefully be ready on Saturday afternoon after another quick turnaround....again, TheEagleman doesn' think these 1pm tipoffs are fair for the travelling squad....road teams already behind the 8 ball but asking them to play a 2nd game in 40 hours is not easy.......but it is what it is....not an excuse to lose to a team that is 1-6 in Summit League play.....GO BLUE!!! Keenan Henderson
SDSU is starting to emerge as ORU's biggest threat in the Summit League. They have won 6 of 7 since getting blown out at the Mabee Center. Mayo has become a star for the Jackrabbits as OT predicted and their defense has slowly improved. Dave Connor
St. Thomas is the only Summit League team that has won all (4) conference games at home, but has lost all 5 conference games on the road. Will this trend continue on Thursday when South Dakota State visits St. Thomas?

theeagleman5
Jacks and Tommies should a very interesting match up on Thursday night in Minnesota...it will go a long way to help determine who will be ORUs main competition in the Summit League. If St. Thomas wins then they are for real...if SDSU can score the victory on the road then TheEagleman would have to rethink his fraud comment above.... can't wait.... TrueBlue82
Saint Thomas with a home win over SDSU, leaving every Summit team except ORU with at least three league losses. It’s very possible that ORU will head to the final weekend series in South Dakota with the regular season title already clinched, which would be a very nice prelude to the Summit Tourney.
dave
St. Thomas might be the team no one wants to play.

St. Thomas is very good at home (and not so good on the road). Must be something about sleeping in your own bed.
theeagleman5
TheEagleman has no problem with ORU vs. St. Thomas....they are a solid team but not the Golden Eagles...and the Jacks proved tonight that they just aren't what they used to be...I would still prefer that ORU avoid SDSU in Sioux Falls but if it has to be....bring them on.... dave
I agree that the Eagles are the class of the league and SDSU is definitely down this year. I just think that the Tommies are kind of playing with house money (thought you might like that Eagleman) because they aren't eligible for post season and shown they are able to beat everyone else in the Summit on a given night. So far the only team that really stuck with ORU is the Roo's. They might be the most logical threat to us. But if we keep improving on both ends of the court and play with the intensity we have showing, we should continue to dominate.

Keenan Henderson
SDSU did not have three of their best players for the St. Thomas game. Alex Ariens, Charlie Easley, and their big man were out of the game. That 's a big reason why they are struggling.

Not having Arians is big for them! Veteran player than knows exactly where to be on the court.
