Excellent insight by Doc....and TheEagleman wonders if Vanover's knee can hold up with 3 games in 4 nights....Connor is a key component of this ORU team on both ends.....never thought you would hear TheEagleman say that, huh??....😮

I think NDSU might be the more dangerous team since they have length. Over the course of a multi-day event teams that rely on outside shooting could fade.

ORU will have days off so that'll help

I tend to think the Tommie faithful would view this tournament as their Big Dance; winning it would be the ultimate achievement for their program at this stage of D1 development.

A sample of what the conference tournament means to UST (right down to their seeding)...

Not sure why, but Western Illinois @ North Dakota (an important game for deciding the four Friday teams in Sioux Falls) is being played at 11am today.  Perhaps weather related?

Wow! An important game on the schedule for those guys will feel like an intraquad scrimmage game.

The Leathernecks have a little to prove this year. They should be proud of the improvements they have made this year.

The WIU win locks up no worse than a 6-seed for the Leathernecks; they now have avoided playing in Friday's 7-thru-10 first-round games.  A win Saturday night at NDSU could vault them all the way to third place, depending on how St. Thomas and NDSU finish up.

If I’ve got this right, UST is now locked into the 4/5 game.  The winner of the WIU/NDSU game earns the three seed, and the loser will play the Tommies in the 4/5 game.  The 4/5 winner would be ORU’s potential opponent in the semis.

ORU’s first round matchup will be against the 8/9 winner from Friday night.  Still too many variables to know who will play in the 8/9 game, but it will likely be UND and the winner of the Denver/Omaha game this weekend.
