Dr. Cornelius
Is this substitution pattern normal for Coach Sutton? Seems like lots of switching players in an out with no drop off in talent. I was just thinking that.
vcboy2000
How many blocks is that for ORU? I love the athleticism around the rim for the Golden Eagles so far.
vcboy2000
Rashaad Smith for TU is a player.
Old Titan
Vey surprised that ORU's athleticism is equal to/better than TU's.
Old Titan
No offense with Glover on bench with 2 fouls. God forbid we run a set play out of that deadball - settled for a shot-clock-rushed 3 from Billbury instead.
Old Titan
Woodard with his THIRD foul, bumping Obi on the drive. Edmond HS teammates getting after each other!
ron
Hello guys. Just checking in. Would you mind giving me scoring updates.
ORUalum
ORU is rebounding well...just need to limit the turnovers
Old Titan
TU scores with :15 in the half to cut ORU lead to 3, Sutton calls timout before ORU can inbound ball against scattered TU defense. Timeout gives TU chance to substutute defensively; sets up fullcourt press, leads to ORU timeout when they can't inbound the ball. Finally get ball in, but never get a decent shot before buzzer. That's terrible clock management...wasted two timeouts, when it should have been TU calling the TO.
vcboy2000
Minus 2 fouls on Glover, the coaches have got to be pleased with the teams effort. I'm impressed with how deep we are in almost every position.
ManiacAlum
Wow, Glover came out with foul trouble? Gametracker showing him with 10 shots already.
Old Titan
30-27 ORU in a very entertaining first half. Storylines: ORU's rebounding and overall superior athleticsm, Woodard of TU (last year's hero) with 3 fouls, no one can hit a 3.
Dr. Cornelius
Is there something wrong with TU's stat / sports info? It's different at every outlet.
Old Titan
Glover picks up his 3rd seconds into 2nd half - need some other offensive options!
vcboy2000
Geoff said they were having a problem. He couldn't get confirmed stats.
ORUalum
Obi's turnovers are killing us
Old Titan
For some reason, Evans for TU is allowed to armbar ORU postmen in paint. No one else is.
vcboy2000
Sounds like we need to work on some 3 on 2 fast break drills. Lol!
