Gold*
I hate to sound so out of touch, but who is Derrek Lewis? Where did he play last year? I think he is now a sophomore. He played for Union. Woj really wanted him. He's supposed to be a defensive specialist. Something about Union's program tends to push their top players out of state. We need a Bill Blankenship type deal for basketball.
birdsnest
Clarke went 6of8 against LSU,Had a good game with 17 pts. on weds night.
ORUTerry
He is getting plenty of playing time and lots of opportunity to showcase his talents. Hard to believe Clarke - or Page would transfer.
SOLO_Gold
He is getting plenty of playing time and lots of opportunity to showcase his talents. Hard to believe Clarke - or Page would transfer. Also apparently Sidorakis has been averaging a good 17 mins per game. I don't think he's going anywhere. ctt8410
Also apparently Sidorakis has been averaging a good 17 mins per game. I don't think he's going anywhere. Sidorakis has only played more than 17 minutes once in the past 2 years at OSU. He's averaging 5.9 mpg this year.

Old Titan
Who are you referring to? And what would it have to do with? Clarke? He misses being the big fish in the little pond. More like, he misses being the Blue Whale in that little pond south of Verdigris on Highway 66. Sidorkis? He really should transfer - Ford is recruiting over him right and left. ctt8410
Who are you referring to? Clarke And what would it have to do with? There are deep-lying issues with Arkansas basketball right now well beyond their 1-10 conference record.
SOLO_Gold
Sidorakis is really avg. that many minutes? Are you sure?If he is then why would he leave? It was reported on the Animal today that over the past few games he's been averaging about 17 mins per game. They also mentioned how much Ford is beginning to trust him. Bogus Smith
OSU guard Sidorakis sees more minutes by: JIMMIE TRAMEL World Sports Writer STILLWATER — Nick Sidorakis came off the bench to help Oklahoma State stifle a Texas Tech comeback attempt Wednesday night. He showed real poise the next day. Sitting in a chair outside OSU's locker room, Sidorakis was being interviewed for coach Travis Ford's TV show. Obi Muonelo crept up behind the camera and tried to make Sidorakis lose his composure. Muonelo made faces, danced and gyrated. Sidorakis never flinched. The dude is one cool customer. Or should he be selling things to customers? OSU guard Sidorakis Sees More Minutes
birdsnest
old titan it is clear that you don't like Clarke cause he didn't come to ORU.You were slobbering all over him bfore his choice. He is happy from what it seems, haven't heard any complaints. How cam you when you are a freshman and you avg. about 32 minutes a game and 12 points. All he is going to do is get better,no sense in dogging him every chance you can get. Birdsnest, by a quick search of your previous posts it's appears Rotnei can do no wrong in your book - I assume you're a huge fan of his, maybe even a close relative. You're certainly entitled to your opinion - Rotnei seems like a talented player and a great kid. But I want to make it clear my attitude toward Rotnei has nothing to do with sour grapes over his college choice. A search of my posts with the word "Clarke" in them will show that, while I was fascinated for months with his recruitment and the whole soap opera it created, I also mentioned on numerous occasions - way before he ever committed to Arkansas - that I feared signing him might create a case of "subtraction by addition". While RC might have averaged something like 38-40 minutes and 25-30 points a game as a freshman at ORU, I was worried in the long haul the internal distractions his presence might have created would not have been healthy for the program. I love the chemistry Scott Sutton fosters year in and year out at ORU, and I don't think any one player who brings a lot of baggage is worth upsetting that unique balance - no matter how talented he might be. One need only look at Arkansas this year as a prime example of several talented players who, while perhaps putting up big numbers in things like points and minutes played, simply aren't playing together as a team. To each their own: for me, I love the ORU/Sutton formula of the "whole equalling more than the sum of the parts". And if that means no 4-star signings, I'm fine with it, and frankly not interested in ORU chasing any high-profile players who might not be all about "team first". birdsnest
Good post oldtitan just asking!I saw in the paper that Clarke went 4/8 from the 3 and had14 against South Carolina. He got 42 minutes last night in a loss. You are right about the problems with their team,They have lost 3 players this year and have 2 that cause a lot of problems that i heard won't be back. One other question i have since you seem to know a lot about what is going on,Do you think that Sadorkis and Page will transfer now that Page is starting and Sidorkis is playing a lot?
