It is confusing with the "Covid year", but those that are eligible for the draft, include: Redshirt Sophomores - could potentially be back if they don't transfer (unless noted) Dylan Wipperman Prince Allman Jacob Widener - scouts were out to look at Jacob specifically Juniors - could potentially be back if they don't transfer (unless noted) Jonah Cox - should be drafted Ryan Blackwell Caleb Isaacs Garrett Casey Connor Floyd Max Lucas Drew Stahl Ryan Tressler Reed Ronan Cade Denton - should be drafted Redshirt Juniors - may have another year (unless noted) Holden Breeze - no more eligibility Sam Thompson Preston Baumgartner Seniors - may have a Covid year available (unless noted) Jake McMurray - no more eligibility Blaze Brothers - no more eligibility Justin Quinn Jacob Godman Evan Kowalski Transfer Seniors - no more eligibility Matt Hogan - should be drafted Harley Gollert - may be drafted Mac McCroskey - should be drafted Andrew Roach Some of the baseball players that read the board may be able to provide some updates to this list as I don't know all the players' situations and opportunities. I hope all our players get the opportunity to be drafted or sign free agent contracts if they aren't drafted. Regardless, we are looking forward to seeing those that remain and those that come into the program develop into "next-level" players. 2 2 4
Bogus Smith Posted June 27, 2023 Posted June 27, 2023 And to think that we weren't even on some of these polls' radar screens for most of the year! 5 1

It wasn't too long ago that even die-hard fans were questioning the #10 ranking we were receiving in one poll - I bet nobody is questioning it now!! This meme is really a celebration of a truly amazing group. What a joy it was to follow them! 2

titansforever Posted June 29, 2023 Posted June 29, 2023 Even MORE awards for our players. ManiacAlum Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 It's about time the folks at Collegiate Baseball quit underrating us!

He just looks the part of an MLB reliever already with his size and funky, lefty arm angle. 4 1 1

Have we ever had a more decorated team? 1977 & 1978 had some well-decorated teammates on those clubs. Bob Volk, Bill Springman, George Bjorkman, Ron Meredith were All-Americans on their respective teams in those years.
theeagleman5 Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Widener is likely to be drafted somewhere in the first 8-10 rounds one would think....and has a decent chance to make some serious $$$ in MLB someday if he goes to the right organization and continues to improve....TheEagleman agrees that his funky delivery and unusual arm angle is very tough on left handed hitters..... 1 1
Popular Post Bogus Smith Posted August 5, 2023 Popular Post Posted August 5, 2023 Watching the Little League SW Regional between Louisiana and Oklahoma (Tulsa) in the second round. All SW regional games are on the Longhorn Network for those interested. The announcers give a shout out to the ORU Golden Eagles as the Oklahoma team is awarded with a gummy bear when they reach first base - just like the area ORU team that made it to the College World Series. The reach is everywhere when you win! 6 1
ron Posted August 5, 2023 Posted August 5, 2023 I lived in Germany for 14 years. Gummy bears rule at that age!
