Keenan Henderson
Interesting to see that Max is #1 all time in three pointers made in the Summit League but #2 on ORU's all time list!

SonofaLegend
I would think this bodes well for us, in the event we need help with an at large bid. Max has name recognition and a reputation!
Old Titan
It bears noting that the CollegeInsider, com Lute Olson award is typically reserved for players from P5 conferences, while their Lou Henson award (which Max has won several times) is for low-to-mid-major schools (a player from Marshall won that honor this week). Max was also awarded the Lute Olsen award two seasons ago. Ranking right up there with the best at ALL levels!

(well. for the most part) The Summit League did name Max as the Peak Performer of the Week, and also noted the CollegeInsider National Player of the Week award. However, they do not read this message board, and therefore did not review Old Titan's post and did not understand the nuances of the CollegeInsider award system. As a result, they state in one section of the article that Max won the Lute Olson award, and later on mistakenly state that that Max won the Lou Henson award. Alas, it has been proven once again that the sports world would be a much better (and smarter) place if everyone read the ORU Sports Forum. 3 1 2

The Fan Vote will count as one committee vote during the finalist selection process." Bumping this for everyone to go vote!

I e-mailed them this morning to inform them of the error in their press release about Max, and received an immediate response thanking me for the input - and their website was corrected five minutes later. Well done, SL!

All of these guys are special because they have put in really hard work, and their efforts are paying off! Kudos to these guys, and the coaches who have helped inspire and motivate them. These guys deserve this! 2
