That Commodores team had 6'1" Scottie Pippen, Jr. in the backcourt (now of the LA Lakers), and you see a LOT of REALLY long guards in the SEC - tough place to have two not-so-tall guards on the floor at the same time. Great find; I can’t explain why Vanderbilt’s coach would or wouldn’t play anyone on his roster.
