#1ORUFAN Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 Lunardi now has ORU vs. Texas A&M in the East 12/5 matchup. A&M beat Alabama 61-67 on 3/4 and Arkansas 61-67 yesterday.

Dave Connor Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 #25 Missouri lost to #4 Alabama 61-72. That could help us a bit in the AP rankings on Monday, but most AP voters will likely not consider that a "bad" loss for Missouri.

Oklahoma State, Liberty and North Carolina stand at Nos. 43, 44 and 46 respectively and everyone seems to agree none of them will make the field, while Arizona State and Pittsburgh at Nos. 66 and 67 are listed in the "Last Four In" on most brackets, despite the fact they're just one place ahead of woeful Oklahoma. Perhaps strangest of all is Nevada at No. 37, one rung below ORU and by most accounts on the outside of the bubble. Many are calling for the index to be revamped next season, with the likes of Florida Atlantic (13), Boise State (27) and ORU (36) cited as examples that something is amiss with the formula.
ORUJason Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 I heard Joe Lunardi say yesterday concerning the NET rankings that the difference between 33 and 113 is significant but the difference between 33 and 53 is not significant.
