theeagleman5
Another nasty loss for the Grizz tonight....this makes the ORU game on Tuesday night almost a must win for Oakland if they want to remain in the hunt for the #1 seed....Kampe's boys are in a real slump....he's gonna need a few strong cocktails on the plane home tonight..... ORUTerry
Scores from last night (1//3/2012): Southern Utah - 58 IPFW - 79 South Dakota - 44 Western Illinois - 67 UMKC - 74 IUPUI - 83 (in OT) The boxscore in this game looks crazy: IUPUI shot 48.1% fg% and 28.6% from the 3-point line (4 3-pointers), while UMKC shot 49.1% fg% (took 5 more shots and made 3 more) and 62.5% from the 3-point line (10 3-pointers) UMKC outrebounded IUPUI by 10 (36 to 26) - and committed 24 tournovers to 11 for the Jaguars. So, you ask - how did the Roos lose? Easy, IUPUI took 39 free throw (made 29) and UMKC took only 10 (made . You have to love home cookin'. theeagleman5
IPFW and WIU with big wins tonight....SDSU is down 1 at SUU at halftime trying to keep pace with ORU at 5-0 in the Summit.....would be nice if the T-Birds scored the upset to help us..... theeagleman5
Hard to believe that UMKC came within seconds of upsetting NDSU on the road....that would have been a Summit shocker.....Not suprised at all over SUU beating IUPUI....TheEagleman had the T-Birds +7.5 in that game....took it all the way to the bank.... ron
Watching UND playing NDSU on television up here on an ABC station. It's a close game. NDSU isn't looking as good as they did against ORU.
ORUTerry
The Bison lose to the Fighting Sioux ( or whatever they call themselves now) 59 to 54. That has got to be a blow given how the two schools hate each other.
theeagleman5
That's a pretty bad loss for NDSU.....FargoBison is probably already heavily intoxicated to deaden the pain.....
ORUalum
interesting that they would schedule a road non-conference rivalry game in the middle of the conference season....
rabidrabbit
interesting that they would schedule a road non-conference rivalry game in the middle of the conference season.... Bison play their travel partner this weekend, so only the one game in Summit this week. Bracketbuster weekend is also the other Jacks/Bison game. That's why Bison/Jacks didn't get that 3 Summit games Jan 3, Jan 5, Jan. 7 that the other 8 teams suffered.

Bracketbuster weekend is also the other Jacks/Bison game. That's why Bison/Jacks didn't get that 3 Summit games Jan 3, Jan 5, Jan. 7 that the other 8 teams suffered. my point was that most coaches would take the week to heal up, coach up and get ready for the second half of the conference season. you can't tell me that the game could not have been squeezed in during Nov or Dec. there is a reason college coaches don't like to break up conference season w/ a non conference game unless it is a bracketbuster type game. in my humble opinion it was poor scheduling by the NDSU coach.
