Unbelievable come back UNLESS you know this team and have followed them all year. If that's the case, you know they are a resilient bunch who are extremely disciplined at the plate. You know they will never stop grinding. You know that a comeback is always possible. I had a great experience at the game. Connected with some alums I haven't seen in 35+ years. Also connected with @Old Titan, @tmh8286, @Sterns78and @dbl78 In addition I had a nice chat with Tim Johnson, Matt Moore and Billy Wilson. Oh and we sang happy birthday to Mike Carter! Got to sit on the same row with Dalton Patton's friends and family so that was fun especially when he was pitching. I had a brief conversation with Jake McMurray's mother and grandfather after the game. @theeagleman5, Wilson said he wants a rule that if you're wearing ORU gear you can't drink alcohol LOL. He said that some of our fans enjoyed themselves a bit too much up in Oregon. It was unbelievably loud in our section. Like legit my watch is warning me about hearing loss loud. During the bottom of the 9th by heart beat got up to 122 I was so nervous and excited. Outside of my children's athletics endeavors, that was the greatest sports moment of my life. theeagleman5 Posted June 17, 2023 Share Posted June 17, 2023 The national coverage that ORU is getting for that comeback win yesterday over TCU is just incredible....TheEagleman watched the final innings of the replay on ESPNU this morning....really fun to watch knowing the outcome...not as much fun yesterday....lol....Florida Gators will be a huge challenge....they have some long ball hitters including the kid with 31 and pitching out the wazoo.....this will be the toughest game of the season for the Good Guys.....a victory would put us on the path to make the finals.....still such an amazing thing to watch......I love these guys!!... 2 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
