theeagleman5 Posted June 12, 2023 Share Posted June 12, 2023 TheEagleman also commented to the Mrs. about obvious profanity you could pick up on ESPN early in the game...took those idiots at ESPN a good hour to finally turn off that microphone....hey, a home advantage is expected to include loud obnoxious fans trying to intimidate the visiting team but that crudeness was uncalled for and sorry but those two goofy ESPN broadcasters totally ignored it and you could hear the same guy F bombing over and over....glad that the Good Guys didn't pay attention and surely were not intimidated.....and yeah, that was an 11-6 A$$ whoppin' that could have been a lot worse really.......just happy to see that ORU Baseball rose above that.... 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had seen it suggested that we would play Friday so I made my travel arrangements assuming we would play Friday and Sunday. Of course plans can be changed as needed. Popular Post theeagleman5 Posted June 12, 2023 Popular Post Share Posted June 12, 2023 TheEagleman still enjoying the spoils of victory 12 hours later....but have to agree with those OU softball girls....the joy is fleeting compared to the joy in Christ.....and I also have to apologize to anyone who thinks i might have been dumping on RR in my previous posts....I wish the man no ill will and pray that he has been changed by what he has seen happen at ORU over the past decade in his absence....yeah, we can enjoy a few laughs at RR's expense because of how he was....but praying that this man and his wife have been changed over the years and that the Lord has used ORU to show them what OR had in mind all along...there is a resurgence and revitalization like we have never seen before on campus...and not just talking about sports.....yeah, this basketball and baseball run is incredible but from what TheEagleman has heard from some of you...there is a spirit on campus that just captures what Oral Roberts University is all about and what our founder had envisioned.....yeah, this was a great weekend and will be an amazing week of publicity for ORU...but all the GLORY goes to GOD and what HE is accomplishing at 7777 So. I'm just trying to nail down the Friday/Sunday or Saturday/Monday aspect. I'm not seeing anything official about the days each bracket play this first weekend; only the ESPN and Tulsa World articles. It makes little sense for the as-yet-undetermined Texas/Stanford and Southern Miss/Tennessee winners in Bracket #1 to play a day sooner on Friday instead of Saturday, does it?
