So happy for the Coach and the team! We’ve been around since 1969 and this is one of the top 10 coolest things, IMO!!! 4
Keenan Henderson
The ESPN announcer said it: ORU is so patient. They draw 11 walks leading to 11 runs. The Eagles just wore out the Ducks bullpen. Never seen a more patient team then this ORU squad. Walks lead to wins! So happy for the team and all the fans. 2
eagle88
This is a dream come true! We are a top 8 team in the nation! This is great for our university in so many ways. It not only brings us national exposure but it will bring in a lot of $$ for ORU! What a great time to be an Eagle fan and to beat and silence Oregon was amazing!! 3

Popular Post theeagleman5
Hard to believe but TheEagleman is at a loss for words....Just sooooo proud of this bunch of guys and our coaching staff....Coach Folmar did a fantastic job....not bad for a "mediocre coach".....but yeah, that was almost four hours of gut wrenching torture until the final inning when we put the game away thanks to the Oregon bullpen...gutsy effort by the Ducks but they ran out of pitching and the ORU staff pretty much shut down the Ducks after the first inning.....Fowler was really good....Patton did a fantistic job finishing up and just guessing that Denton just had a empty tank today....but we never needed Cade thankfully.....what a night for ORU!!!....the next week we can bask in the glow until TCU on Friday.....Thankyou, ORU BASEBALL!!!...This old Alum is very proud!!! 7 1 1

Hope I can get a ticket! I also have a similar wife - planning to make the drive from Tulsa with @OKC Eagle. This will be a short drive compared to all the road trips we made as students back in the day! 2

Popular Post ORob1
Man, I would have loved to have seen those Oregon students faces after that SUPER a$$ whoopin! They were more obnoxious than I ever expected. Anyone else pick up all the foul language on the ESPN broadcast? I can only imagine it was even worse near the student's section. What a huge advantage playing at home has to be--especially when the students and fans are allowed/encouraged to aggravate, cuss and completely disrespect the visiting team. I'm so glad ORU is better than that. ORU was clearly the better, more complete team this weekend. The Ducks have some guys that can crush the ball but, even with them and (huge) home field advantage, the Golden Eagles were clearly better, IMO. I think we can win a game or two in Omaha. I would also expect as an underdog, we're going to pick up some fans of the other teams when they're not playing us. And, we'll finally be able to do it on a neutral field...I would guess ORU is closer to Omaha than any of the other participants so we should have a ton of our own fans there too! I'm thrilled and hope we continue to play solid, balanced, exciting baseball! I officially declare this, BLUE PRIDE MONTH! 5 1
