It looks like it will be Fowler vs Hammer tonight which is the same matchup we had in game 3 at DBU. We are a different team now. That was the one game Jonah did not have a hit. ORUJason Posted June 4, 2023 Share Posted June 4, 2023 The commentators mentioned during the DBU vs. Washington game that if DBU advances, Hammer will likely be the starter for DBU tonight. DBU's starting pitcher, Bragg, is still pitching in the 8th inning, so as I mentioned in another thread, DBU has been able to save the rest of their arms up to this point in today's first game. In order to be eliminated the Good Guys would have to go 0-5 for the season vs. DBU....I think the Patriots are very good but ORU is a much better team than 3 months ago....time to end this tonight. ManiacAlum Posted June 5, 2023 Share Posted June 5, 2023 I think the year DBU beat ORU to advance to the supers, the winner of the corresponding regional- Cal, had a home field with no lights and no setup for TV. But they were allowed to "host" the super regional at Santa Clara. We would gladly travel to a Eugene Super Regional, wherever it gets played. Would prefer to see a shorter leash on our pitching today. For a team that gave up 12 runs yesterday, we should still have a bunch of arms available.
