It's not like ORU won by 20 and by the way, sideline guy, not a great night for the game ops folks. Glad somebody noticed that the Tommies went an entire possession without the shot clock running until after they missed. The 3s were not connecting but McBride and Max did a good job of driving the ball and picking up fouls. Usually in a 3 game tournament, such as the Summit League, a team has one off night. Tonight the Eagles had an off night and found a way to win. St. Thomas may not have a true post player but they have a lot of 6'6/6'7 players that make it hard to score. They had a really good year and won 19 games. Their 3 freshmen are very good and will be a solid core group to build around. The Tommies had about 4 or 5 shots go half way down and then spin out or they may have won tonight. Go Eagles and bring home 30 wins and a championship tomorrow night! SOOO glad we are now through with the Midco clown show; and hopeful for a more-professional broadcast from ESPN on Tuesday night. And now with SDSU's loss, I can FINALLY avoid seeing the idiot tweets from THIS Bozo, a Sioux Falls SDSU homer and semi-professional sports talk "personality" whose inane takes re: ORU keep getting snagged in my "Oral Roberts" filter on Twitter, like dung beetles in a butterfly net.
