Yesterday our beat writer said that "core member" was going away and now all the Summit will need is 7 active members. This is from his blog... UPDATE: Legislation on the books upcoming in the NCAA is to get rid of the six schools together for five years rule. All the shakeup in the major conferences is being cited as one reason.
