Norman Regional has Sunny Golloway feeling nostalgic

I don't think Sunny is getting the recruits - they are playing for the school. It's a big draw. His coaching style is certainly aggressive (offense) but his teams reflect his manic style. He is not near the manager that Walton is. It speaks volumes that Sunny's former players hold him in such low esteem.

LOL at Sunny's comment that their was "bitterness on the other side" when he left ORU.

More like dancing in the streets.

There were some of us who were ROOTING for Sunny to get the Kentucky and Hawaii jobs when he applied for them, but unfortunately both schools went with other candidates.

It was just a little embarrassing that when he finally did leave ORU, it was for an assistant coaching job at a Big XII school.

Made ORU look bad in general, but I can't recall a single soul involved with ORU athletics that wasn't really excited about Rob Walton taking the helm, where he has of course exceeded expectations.

LOL - still needing four more names to round out your list, eh??

Sorry OT, had to put the football list on hold. Lakes and I are working on the five hottest Nodak women who work as cocktail waitresses at the Indian casino. The beast that is FCS football will have to wait.

Regardless of whether Sunny is liked or not, he's getting talented players that keep his team ranked and is successful in getting to host regionals from the NCAA. When baseball players come to play under Sunny's tutelage, they are performing - whether it's by intimidation or teaching. I personally don't like the manner in which Sunny coaches, but you can't deny that he gets results, even if there are casualties along the way.

Results? How many CWS has Sunny made? How many Big 12 titles?
