orumom
Prediction: Caleb will play first - and more - in the NBA than JamesOn Curry. Caleb's work ethic and positive attitude should made the difference. Even the 60 in the draft have to prove themselves in the camps...no guarantees in life or the NBA Draft. Go Caleb!!! Actually there are 30 guarantees in the NBA draft, and that's the guaranteed contracts of the first round picks!
Old Titan
Actually, I just read that in addition to his proclamation of the Bulls picking him late in the second round (which they did), JamesOn Curry claims he was also promised a guaranteed $400,000 one-year contract. Such a deal is unheard of for guys drafted in his spot. But then again, so is a late second-rounder being told before the draft that he's definitely going to get picked! If he's right again, obviously my prediction is moot: he would automatically be on the roster for the Bulls' season opener...
Mike Minyard
I only post this story because Caleb has some expectations of getting drafted in JamesOn's spot. Sure wish the Bulls would have drafted Caleb... Ex-OSU player JamesOn Curry's arrest details clarified By KELLY HINES World Staff Writer Reports that Chicago Bulls rookie JamesOn Curry was arrested early Thursday because he urinated in public are inaccurate, a spokeswoman from the Boise (Idaho) Police Department said. Police made contact with Curry, 22, after he was seen urinating in an alley outside a hotel about 2:30 a.m., but the former Oklahoma State player was arrested because he ran from an officer, Lynn Hightower said by telephone Friday morning. “When you run, that creates an Idaho state misdemeanor, and you’re going to get arrested,” she said. Urinating in public does not warrant arrest in Idaho, Hightower said. Normally a warning or ticket is issued instead. When approached by a police officer in his patrol car, Curry looked at the officer and started to walk away, according to information provided by the police department. When the officer turned his lights on, Curry looked back and started to run. http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/article. ... Repor02475
