Old Titan
I'm guessing that a seat on the second row of the bench is not conducive to hearing the last-second call from the coach to come in & hit a couple of crucial free throws. Hopefully, he did not have to pay for that seat...
Idig32
Summer League is a strange environment. A lot of players who play 30 minutes tonight won’t play the next game. Max will likely get to play some in the 3 game stretch. However, I still think that it’s going to be his character and professional attitude that will win a team over. Probably not the Jazz because it just doesn’t seem like a great fit, unless they see him as a culture guy that can help them build the right sort of team chemistry. I still love theeagleman’s idea of the 76ers being a good landing spot for Max.
darrenj
Hopefully Max will get in a few of the games. Should have went and played on the Spurs summer league as when Castle doesn't play they don't have even a fringe NBA on the team. They are terrible. I would think he could get on a GLeague if it something he wants to do. Sooner or later needs to head to Europe for a few years to make some $$. He won't make much in GLeague and he isn't going to make an NBA roster.
2014Grad
Did not get to watch the game, but Max played 7 minutes tonight, went 1-3 with 2 points, 2 rebounds and an assist.

I watched; he looked pretty decent in mop-up time, with the Thunder leading the game by 20 or so. But he still looks really small out there amidst this level of athletes, particularly on defense. theeagleman5
Yep....if Max was only about 4 inches taller and 25 pounds heavier he would be an awesome point guard with his smarts and heart.......
Keenan Henderson
Max has been shooting 3-13 with 7 points in his last two summer league games. Good to see him on the court but he has struggled. As has been said it is hard to shoot with guys 5-6 inches taller than you right in your face.
theeagleman5
Max with 19 last night in 25 minutes. His most productive summer league performance yet... 1
Keenan Henderson
I just watched Max in his final summer league game and he saved the best for last: 23 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals. He looked like the best player on the Jazz team. After that performance he should get a G League offer from Utah or some other NBA team. Way to go Max! theeagleman5
Max was impressive tonite...granted the NBA Summer League is made up of mostly fringe players but 23, 8 and 5 will get some attention....TheEagleman still thinks he could be the 14th or 15th man on a roster derift of NBA talent after the first 10 spots like the Sixers but they just won't take my calls.... Keenan Henderson
Max is much more than a scorer. He has become a really good play maker. Yesterday, he was passing at another level and should have had a few more assists as various teammates were missing open shots. Max has become a complete player. It was weird seeing him in #36 jersey. Who wears that number? nobody
titansforever
He's pretty much the definition of a "whole man".

Old Titan
That jersey looks like the "last resort option" heat transfers I offer grade school coaches* when they try to order uniforms one week before their kid's season starts. *ie parents
TrueBlue82
Max signs with the Utah Jazz! Terms were not disclosed, but it will be interesting to see where this might take Max. His dreams of playing in the NBA are coming to reality. 1
