16-4 ORU heads over to Grand Forks to take on the Fighting Hawks in a Saturday Afternoon contest.....UND is 7-13 overall and 1-6 in the Summit getting their first win last night over KC....Good Guys should be a double digit favorite to win this game but always tough to win on the road especially on a short turnaround....hoping the Golden Eagles didn't use all their ammunition last night in Fargo....impressive performance.....Lakes Bison is prepared to bet big $$$ on ORU if we are less than 15 point favorites.....not sure about that thinking but it shows were the confidence level is right now and the fear we have put in our Summit League foes.....a road sweep up north would surely be sweet....so let's do it!  ORU 88  UND 72...GO BLUE!!!  :circle-logoi:

UND is coming off its best showing against KC, they hit a school record 18 threes in that game.  At times, ORU has struggled with guarding the three.  If they can slow down UND's outside shooting, then the Eagles should be fine.

The Hawks are in a sticky situation: they're battling to turn the season around and maybe save their coach's job.  They have some good young players but unusually that means a lot of up and down play.  Expect a close first half but then ORU finishes UND off in the second half.

ORU is -13.5.....thats a big number on the road....TheEagleman thinks this should be a comfortable win but the Fighting Hawks clearly have something to prove after dismantling KC last night. Good Guys can't just show up and so far this season ORU has won the games we are supposed to win....would be nice to travel back to Tulsa at 17-4 with 3 homes games on tap to finish the month. Let's do this!!! 🤩

North Dakota beat Kansas City by taking (and making) a lot of three point shots. They took 42  three point shots out of a total of 54 shots taken - and made 18 (43%). So 78% of their shots were three pointers. It is the great equalizer. We need to defend the 3-pt line.

UND outrebounded KC 35 to 29, but shot 11/16 from the free throw line vs. 15/21 for KC. Both teams had 14 turnovers.

guard them tight on 3s, they have 0 inside game especially with Tanover in the paint.  might as well be -23.5

plus they finally got a 1 in the win column so pressure is off of them

UND does not really have a big time scorer/all star type of guy.  They have about 7-8 players who can score around 7-10 points a game and hit threes.  That makes the scouting report a little more difficult because you cannot just focus on 1-2 guys.  I still do not think the Hawks have enough firepower but they will keep it close, 80-72 for the Good Guys!

Anyone else having issues with the ESPN+ broadcast?  It says "2:00pm" as the start, which is wrong...

Yes. Saying the event has not started.

Yes, even the ESPN game tracker shows it hasn't started yet. Anyone know if they've tipped off?
