theeagleman5 Posted April 29, 2022 Share Posted April 29, 2022 Good Guys in Greeley, CO to face Summit newcomers Northern Colorado for a 3 game set....we are 24-14 (8-4) and the Bears are 10-28 (6-9).....this is a series we should and need to win.....good pitching and some timely hitting would be nice....not sure what to expect from ORU this weekend but it's time to step up if we want to finish in the top spot....time is running out.....GO BLUE!!! theeagleman5 Posted April 29, 2022 Author Share Posted April 29, 2022 ORU bats are on fire so far in Colorado today....Good guys up 16-2 on UNC and still batting in the 4th......Loftin has 3 hits and 4 RBI so far......17 hits total for ORU.....Kowalski pitching well so far......could be a run rule game....2+ hours and only 3 innings completed.....home team broadcaster having a long day and sounds like he's about to shoot himself.....ouch! theeagleman5 Posted April 29, 2022 Author Share Posted April 29, 2022 ORU run rules UNC by 26 (yes TheEagleman said 26)-6.....26 runs on 25 hits....Loftin with 4 hits 5 rbi and McCroskey with 4 hits and 4 rbi......six players with multiple hits and 8 players with multiple rbi....let's hope the Good Guys saved some for Saturday/Sunday.....watched a couple innings and the Bears don't look very good at all.....Kowalski gave up 5 runs but gets the win.....Go Blue!! Question is can our pitching keep UNC off the base paths....bet the over on the total... from what i saw yesterday the Bears' pitching staff doesnt have any Nolan Ryans or Jacob DeGroms warming up in the bullpen.... Finally getting that degree must feel great....and the Golden Eagles are celebrating your day with a 10-1 lead as we head to the home 8th....Home team finally just gave their broadcaster a thrill with a pick off of an ORU runner at 2nd....lol....plus that ensures that we will play the full 9 innings today.......Roach pitching well in relief of Smith who went 5 nice innings today......ORU will be going for a much needed sweep on Sunday.....
