It would be nice to sweep the series and and be 9-2 going on the road. I am excited about this year's team. They seem very solid!

ORU scores a run in the 3rd. After 4 innings it is still 1-0 Golden Eagles.

Adam has Jeremy Hefner (pitching coach for the Mets/former ORU pitcher) on the broadcast with him

In other Friday night results, NDSU pulls out a 5-4 come-from-behind upset win at 25th ranked Long Beach State. Very nice win for the Bizon and the Summit League.  Watched a bit of the game on ESPN+, and the NDSU starting pitcher was a crafty southpaw that kept the Dirtbags on their heels all night.

Second-ranked Ole Miss, ORU’s next weekend opponent, won a 8-7 nail-biter at UCF in their series opener.   ORU has a great opportunity for capturing some national attention next week in Oxford.

Reed Ronan looked strong in the top of the 6th in relief. Golden Eagles looking to add to their lead in the bottom of the frame.

Am I the only one who had balls and strikes flipped in the graphic?

So I’m down in Galveston with the fam doing family things. So for the entire first game I was just following on live stats. Every time I checked in we had scored more runs. These boys just never seem to stop hitting.

ORU wins 15-3.....so a total of 29 runs today and 36 for the weekend.....very impressive......8 wins in a row and ORU now 9-2 on the season as we head to Wichita St. and Mississippi this week......:shield-logo:

So, ORU just swept three games from Pacific by a combined score of 36-5.  This is the same Pacific team that swept a four-game season opening series from Summit member Northern Colorado, outscoring them 37-8.  That ORU-UNC series will be interesting, to say the least! 😳
