ORU now 15-7 (9-2) and on track to possibly win 20 games prior to the post season tournament.....Good Guys doing better than TheEagleman thought in pre-season......28 points off the bench including 10 by Lufile....that kid is becoming a big part of this team as we had hoped early on....😎

Nice post OT.  The Denver coach has defitenly turned their program around from bottom dweller to a competitive team in the Summit League.  They went toe to toe with the Eagles for 37-38 minutes yesterday.  ORU just made the big plays in the final two minutes to hold off the Pioneers.  Lufile is getting better as the season goes on.  One of the best offensive rebounders in the country.

The DU coach sounds like a quality guy. Classy for him to compliment the ORU program and it sounds like he knows how to motivate and encourage his own players. Sounds like we can expect the Pioneers to be on the rise. Sounds like he was sending a message to his administration on the support his program has (or hasn't) been receiving.

Denver is young and talented. On top of that, they appear to be well coached. Porter is a special player. He made two straight three pointers late in the game followed by Hunter’s 3. Weaver and Phipps matched them and that was the ball game. Denver is a future power in the Summit League. They just need a couple of additional pieces. I don’t want to face them in the conference tournament.

For those who may not have heard during the broadcast, Denver freshman Coban Porter is the younger brother of Michael Porter, Jr. of the Denver Nuggets.  No doubt Michael's current pro gig weighed heavily in his little brother's decision to play for the Pioneers.
