theeagleman5 Posted March 20, 2015 Share Posted March 20, 2015 The Mastadons come to JLJ this weekend with an 11-6 record....so they are no pushover this season....ORU is 10-9 and fresh off a split at 12th ranked Texas Tech.....big home series that ORU has to win....a sweep would be nice but not a given any more after the past couple of mediocre seasons.....GO BLUE!.... theeagleman5 Posted March 22, 2015 Author Share Posted March 22, 2015 ORU has taken the first two games of the series from IPFW with lots of scoring going on at JLJ....both games we have come from 3 runs behind to win....14-7 on Friday night and today 10-5 with 16 hits.....Chase Stafford is having amazing weekend at the plate...he is 6-10 with 10 rbi....ORU is now 12-9 overall and 4-1 in the Summit...... theeagleman5 Posted March 23, 2015 Author Share Posted March 23, 2015 ORU completes the sweep of IPFW today at JLJ with a 12-4 victory behind five solid innings from Kurt Giller.....great weekend with the bats as we scored 36 runs.....ORU now 14-9 overall and 5-1 in the Summit.....a mid week trip to UALR is up next before first place (6-0) Omaha comes to town next weekend.... The bats were HOT this weekend, with lots of hits and runs from both sides. Hopefully this gives us some momentum heading into the next weekend against a good Omaha club.
