ORU vs. UCSB (CBI Tournament)

The game Wednesday evening was fun to watch. Both teams shot the ball well and the referees let the teams play. The 30 second shot clock seemed to make the game move quicker. The NCAA should immediately institute this change.

Games are lot more fun to watch when teams make shots. The crowd was small, but fairly active. ORU should institute an open seating plan of some sort that allows/encourages fans to sit in the middle sections. This creates a better game atmosphere and seemingly more fan participation.

Our players seemed to play with confidence and were relaxed. They were certainly making shots. The Gauchos had trouble matching up with Emegano and he just abused several of the players guarding him. It was very nice to see Brandon have a nice game. As others have mentioned, when he steps out and makes those 15 foot jumpers - he opens things up down low. I liked that Sutton played Henderson & Conley/Owens at the same time. Young made some very timely shots in the 2nd half. He doesn't force things. Let's hope we can continue to shoot well up in Chicago and keep this thing going.
