ORUTerry
Webber was also coming out of his shell late in the season - with his shooting vastly improved in conference play. He is a tall, physical guard who actually plays good defense - which is a bit surprising given how he was billed as a shooter.
TrueBlue82
Hard to believe the season opener is ONE MONTH from today. Bring it on! My biggest concern this year is defense in the paint. I am really hopeful that AJ is the real deal, but that is a lot of pressure to put on a freshman. If AJ is not quite ready for prime time and Conley has not improved in staying away from ticky-tack fouls, we could be playing small ball for significant minutes each game, which will then force the offense to be VERY efficient. From what I see on paper, this could be a fun team to watch and cheer for. I hope area fans and students catch the wave of excitement early in the season and help shape the energy and chemistry of the team.
