Glad to hear that OSU is in the mix again.....but TheEagleman wonders if ORU will load up on Top 40 schools in the non conference schedule like we did last season....we got off to such a horrendous start.....plus we will probably have another young team this season and we lost our two best players in Gonzalez and Trevino.....could be another sub .500 season.....

Trevino is a junior this spring and is listed on the 2014 roster... so unless you have some insider information, he'll be back (thankfully).

Pardon TheEagleman....I thought Trevino was gone but I was mistaken....his bat and defense will be much needed on this 2014 squad.... :nerd:

ORU released their 2014 schedule today.  Interestingly, no early season tournaments - no games outside the states contiguous to Oklahoma (unlike past trips to powerhouses in California, Arizona, Florida) - home and home series with OU, OSU, and Wichita - and a two-for-one (in our favor) with Mo State.  All in all, this is a really balanced schedule with lots of home games with local/regional appeal.  And, with a much tougher conference schedule in the Southland than our years in the Summit, this seems to fit very well.  We tend to gripe a lot about scheduling - but this earns a "well done"!

I totally agree.  We will still have a decent strength of schedule and get to play the regional rivals.

That first homestand on February 14-16 could be pretty chilly!
