Court hammers Ford/Bradley

This may be a little off topic but is interesting.  Former Kent State University Head Men's Basketball Coach Geno Ford has had a $1.2 million dollar judgment awarded against him for breach of contract for leaving Kent State to go to Bradley University in 2011.  Apparently the Portage County, Ohio Court of Common Pleas awarded Kent State University the sum of $1,200,000.00 as and for damages for Geno Ford's leaving the program in 2011 to take over as Bradley's Head Men's Basketball Coach.  Also, Bradley University was named as a defendant in the same lawsuit for tortious interference with the Ford/KSU contract and that will go to trial this coming October, 2013.  Portage County is the county in Ohio where Kent State is located and the Ohio Attorney General's Office brought the lawsuit as Kent State is obviously part of the state university system in Ohio.  This could have serious implications all over the country.
