Otis 83 Posted March 12, 2013 Share Posted March 12, 2013 An Ode to the Troll Do not feed the troll Starve him The troll needs your replies They are the necessary sustenance the troll seeks when he comes to the message board Do not be angry with troll Pity him The troll needs your anger He seeks fulfillment by provoking angry responses that bring joy to a life that is missing something Do not attack the troll Pray for him The troll needs to be attacked It validates him somehow. Turn the other check and pray Don’t try to understand the troll Ignore him He revels in his anonymity and the mystery that frustrates so many He gains energy when you waste time speculating on what affiliations motivate him Support the team Support the coach Constructively speak the truth in love to them when you feel led to do so But do not feed the troll Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
