OldTimer
Well stats show Kevi with 2 points at half! Unreal how the coaching staff doesn't put the ball in her hands!!!!!!! They are winning though
theeagleman5
Despite only 2 points from Kevi....ORU is rolling over Sam Houston State by 47-25 with 16 minutes left to play....Cooper has 14 and Key with 13....TheEagleman can't agree that the ball isn't in Luper's hands...she is having a bad night shooting only 1-7.....but the other girls are picking her up....Jaci also has 9.....The Eagles are heading towards a victory tonight at Mabee...... theeagleman5
ORU's lead has now ballooned to 65-29 with 10 minutes left....Jaci now the leading scorer with 17.....Kevi has hit a couple shots and now has 8.....Key with 15 and Cooper has 14.....nice balanced scoring.....the Eagles are rolling to an easy win in front of the home crowd tonight.....maybe this will get Old Timer to finally go away......then again...probably not...... ORUJason
5 players in double figures against a decent team with a winning record. In fact a team that ORU has played before so both coaching staffs were now familiar with each other and had time to put in a game plan... And the result is an old school beat down. That is how you put the hammer down and drive it in the ground! A very nice team effort and dare I say that SHSU was out coached in this one. oruvoice
Well stats show Kevi with 2 points at half! Unreal how the coaching staff doesn't put the ball in her hands!!!!!!! They are winning though The ball was in her hands. She got off 7 shots in the first half. But, even though she IS a superstar, she is also a smart/team player and didn't force things. When the ball wasn't going in, she played within the team concept and the team had a nice team win. Amazing. Win by 50 points and still the knives are sharpened toward the coaches. Crap posts aside....nice team win. Lots of players on the team had great games. Congrats to the team and coaches on a really nice win!!! ORUTerry
Very (convincing) nice win aganst SHSU. The team seems to be coming together at the right time.
oruvoice
A 50 point win over the first place team in the league, no less. Don't look now, but ORU is a half a game out of first place, with the next two at home, which are both likely wins. ORU being in first place going into the last week of conference play is going to be bad news for some... Not bad for a first year coach, in a conference ranked ahead of the conference we were in last year.
Old Titan
Well stats show Kevi with 2 points at half! Unreal how the coaching staff doesn't put the ball in her hands!!!!!!! They are winning though *sigh* Un-freaking-believable. This is just the sort of cult comment I will not miss ONE BIT once Kevi graduates. And perhaps when her eligibility is up, we can schedule time on the Mabee Center floor, so fans like OldTimer can watch Kevi all by herself, in a spotlight, shooting free throws, launching 3-pointers, dribbling up the floor, tying her shoes, etc. Because some of her "followers" simply aren't content with having to suffer through a 50-POINT BEATDOWN OF THE FIRST-PLACE TEAM IN THE CONFERENCE!!! ORUJason
If this team can figure out how to play well on the road over the remaining few road games (like they did yesterday at home), it will give them the confidence they need to win the Southland tournament in Katy, TX. While there are some decent women's teams in the Southland, there is no SDSU. So the opportunity to make the NCAA tournament is there for the taking. OldTimer
What makes you think we are going away when Kevi graduates?
