mrmaguda
I just got back from the game. The first half was incredible. The second half was ugly thanks to chicago state but oru showed great resolve. I couldn't believe that the refs let everything go in the first half but let nothing slide in the second half. It'll be a shame if oru gets the playin game or another 16 seed. They deserve a 14 or a 15.

We were told that the officials (apparentlly only for the men's game, just tot make things even more inconsistent) were told to let the guys play. Which would be fine, except that it is a change from the regular season, therefore it is ludicrous. Make up your minds BEFORE the season starts, Mid-Con! And then call all games, season AND tourney, the same.
OKC Eagle
I think "someone" must have told the refs to tighten up at halftime. It was like two different crews. I think they called as many fouls in the first 4 minutes of the 2nd half as the entire first half.
