ORUTerry
Whitt earned an NCAA pole vaulting championship today. Congratulations Jack!
TrueBlue82
Just so we give him his full due, it's Jack Whitt. What a great victory! Our indoor baseball (and pole-vaulting) facility hasn't earned ORU a trip to Omaha yet, but it played a big role in this national championship!

theeagleman5
Will Jack Whitt be competing in the London Olympics this summer or didn't he qualify?.....
TrueBlue82
Will Jack Whitt be competing in the London Olympics this summer or didn't he qualify?..... Olympic trials are later this month in Eugene, OR. While Jack's NCAA vault of 5.65m does not automatically qualify him for the trials (needed 5.70), I'm fairly confident he will be accepted to compete in the event.
