Bogus Smith Posted April 4, 2012 Share Posted April 4, 2012 Well, the good guys tried to give it away in the bottom of the ninth by giving UALR two runs and tying the game; however, the rookie, Jose Trevino, hits a 2-run HR in the top of the 10th and UALR scores a solo HR in the bottom of the 10th, but couldn't keep the game going.......good guys win 6-5 in 10 innings. Jared Schlehuber and Brandon King each hit 2-run HRs during the first four innings to make the game 4-2 for most of the game. Glad to get this win under our belt. Currently 13-14 and we should sweep the weekend series with Oakland this weekend. Hopefully we'll be 17-14 come Easter. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
theeagleman5 Posted April 4, 2012 Share Posted April 4, 2012 NIce to see the Good Guys come home from UALR with a win.....Trevino has been clutch lately.....nice 2 run jack in the 10th for the winning blow....anybody agree with TheEagleman that maybe Coach Walton should try something else in the closing situations besides Matt Rush?...that's at least 3 saves that he's blown in past couple weeks.....not good.......
