theeagleman5 Posted April 1, 2012 Share Posted April 1, 2012 ORU wins the first two games of the series by 9-1 and 14-4.....it appears the bats have come alive to go with good pitching......Mike Torrence went 7 innings in game 1 giving up just a lone run and Alex Gonzalez also went 7 innings in Saturdays game giving up just one run and striking out 10....Jose Trevino has been the hitting star of the weekend.....ORU now 12-13 with another contest against LA. theeagleman5 Posted April 2, 2012 Author Share Posted April 2, 2012 So ORU loses the finale by 3-2.....Griller pitched well but the bats very disappointing after scoring 23 runs in the first two games and only getting a few hits and 2 runs on Sunday.....Rush coughed up the winning run in the 9th.....this team hasn't really got going yet....maybe next weekend?....
