EaglesFan
What is the "scouting report" on Wichita State? How good are they? What should we expect to see? Is it likely to be a competitive game? How do we "match-up" with the Shockers? How have we fared against common opponents? Have we heard anything from our coaching staff about this match-up, and what they expect to see? Are the gals pumped for this game? Just wondering what the "experts" think. I have thought about making the trip to Wichita to see the game, especially if we are likely to have a positive result. What do you think?
#1 Fan
I'll be making the trip. Should be a good game with WSU slightly favored. That being said, when ORU is on - they can beat anyone in the WNIT. RPIs ORU - 116 WSU - 111 19-12, 12-6 MVC - 3rd place WSU's best players are guards - Diamond & Langster
theeagleman5
Looks like WSU was a lot better beating us by 22....a disappointing ending to the season.....we couldn't solve our problems that have plagued us since December......hopefully Coach Fink can retool things around Kevi and her senior year will be one to remember.....she still has an outside shot at 3000 pts..... Holtontulsa
wichita state, was much more athletic and played very physical... More physical than we are accustomed to in the Summit league... Down 19-3 with 15:00 to go in the first they (wichita state) had not missed a shot, they started the game 9/9 from the field
#1 Fan
It was a physical game. On an interesting note the WSU fans - and I talked to several - said that ORU was by far the most physical team that they had played all year. The refs were letting them play - maybe too much. Two of their players left with injuries and one ORU player, Jordan was injured. A slow start once again was the downfall for this team. All-in-all 20 wins is a nice season. Thanks' Jordan, Georgia, and Dom for your four years in "Blue".
