I understand the reasoning but the CBI experience from 2? years ago was so positive for TU with fan excitement and momentum that I am surprised they took that approach. Old Titan Posted January 31, 2012 Author Share Posted January 31, 2012 I heard Bubba Cunnigham also told Wojcik at the end of the C-USA tournament that TU was not about to pay the CBI 5 figures per game hosted just in order for Doug to get enough wins to qualify for his contractural 20-victory bonus. And though we got a banner, and had a great run, and built a lot of buzz about the team, once the reality set back in, you're still the 96-98th best team in the country.
