ORU-sisko
Round 1- ORU over WIU SUU over Valpo IUPUI over Oakland UMKC over CSU Round 2- ORU over SUU IUPUI over CSU Finals - ORU over IUPUI All-tournament team - Caleb Green, ORU (MVP) Nate Janes, SUU Larry Owens, ORU Brandon Cole, IUPUI George Hill, IUPUI Henry Ehegwu, SUU not a whole lot different here, i guess great minds think alike...i feel that SUU has the ability to beat anybody in this league once, but lacks the stability to carry that momentum, im looking for a first round upset at thier hands. oruvoice
Nothing else will matter. All predictions are boiled down and explained by one simple, prophetic prediction... 2006 Mid-Con Tournament MVP...6-1, Junior from Garland Texas, #1 Ken Tutt. Mark it down fellas. vcboy2000
If the last game of the reg. season was any indicator of what we can expect of Tutt, NCAA HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ORUIsbig
Sunday Oru def WI So Utah def Valpo (sorry rlh, rick and stl) Oak def IUPUI UMKC def Chi St. ORU def So Ut UMKC def Oak ORU def UMKC Thoughts 1. There will be an upset, my bet is IUPUI, not us, will be knocked out. 2. We play in our bracket all the teams that we have a loss to. That is good because it is tough to beat teams 3 times in one year (mentally) 3. IF we get umkc, we win good. IF IUPUI makes it, its a tight game and the chances of a L is better. We havent won the close one this year. Not sure we can start now. Tutt is back, Green is focused, Sutton is focused, Riouse off the bench, Owens is strong = We win
oruvoice
We havent won the close one this year. Not sure we can start now. Two words. Ken. Tutt. How quickly some of us forget the greatest clutch shooter in ORU history and how many "close" ones he won for us over his first two years. praetorfenix86
Voice, you have never been more right. And just to remind everyone of how I feel about KT, here is a quote from another thread. Ken Tutt, Ken Tutt, Ken Tutt. Have I mentioned that I love him. Took him fourth in the fantasy draft. Hope he makes me look smart. I love Ken Tutt. Hope Ken Tutt doesn't read the forum or it'll just be another restraining order on me. And I think I forgot to mention, Mid-Con Champions

Agreed, but also, how about not having any close games so we don't have to worry about it. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to win 3 games convincingly. Stl VU Fan
ORU beats WIU - fitting end to a very disappointing season for the Necks IUPUI beats OU - just barely. It really is tough to go 3-0 VU beats SUU - I refuse to believe we lay down and die for that team CSU beats UMKC - UMKC will fail to do what IUPUI will succeed at: going 3-0 WIU beats SUU - T-Birds are toast IUPUI beats CSU - Away from the Jacoby Dickens center, the Jags are too much for the Cougars VU vs. UMKC - too close to call OU beats ORU - Another nail-biter, OU not intimidated by huge Tulsa crowd, their defense is up to the task ORU beats VU - Ken Tutt makes the difference again IUPUI vs. CSU - too close to call WIU beats VU/UMKC - No way the Westerwinds are denied a 4th straight time OU beats IUPUI - Again, tough to go 3-0. A very close game. ORU beats IUPUI/CSU - Again, Ken Tutt makes the difference OU beats WIU - Hafeli, Wilson, et. al. kill the winds from behind the arc, and OU returns to the dance
