Bogus Smith Posted June 26, 2011 Share Posted June 26, 2011 Now that the team is done for the spring season, the players are disbursed to all ends of the country to play. I'm not sure where everyone has ended up, but I did find a trio of players (Alex Gonzalez, Matt Rush and Bennett Pickar) playing in the elite Cape Cod League together on the same team - Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox. You can get to the team site here. If you look at the rosters of the other teams, you'll see a lot of Tier-1 school's players on the rosters and understand why this is the premier summer college league in the country. It looks like Alex and Matt have started out well and Bennett has gotten in about 40% of the team's games. One of the three catchers is from Florida and has not reported to the team yet. Hopefully Bennett will still get his share of games once the roster is full. Hopefully between all of us, we'll have a chance to find all of our players and see their progress this summer during the heat of the summer.
