tmh8286
Geoff chased out of the booth by ESPN3, sitting in the stands among a bunch of LOUD TCU fans!! Said he's happy to be out in the beautiful evening. Scoreboard said it's 100 degrees - don't know how beautiful THAT is!! Broadcast is not on ELIve - broadcast is on 97.1, though. ManiacAlum
No easy outs so far, all of their hits are finding gaps. 4-0 TCU

ManiacAlum
This is playing out like the Irvine game a few years back. Just need to settle down and get some baserunners. And as I say that Pickar strikes out and Barnett hits a first pitch out. 2 away.
theeagleman5
Gonzo gone.....TheEagleman's expectations for this weekend were low anyway.....just don't want to see us blown out by OU.....
ManiacAlum
I dont think we've had a runner reach 2nd base yet. But I would enjoy it if we can somehow send OU home 2-and-cue

Old Titan
10-2 final - pushed a couple of runs across in the top of the 9th just for fun. Just an all-around rough night. We looked REALLY nervous - made bad pitches in the first, bad fielding and throws in the second, and never got anything going at the plate. TCU kept the pressure on all night on the bases - they're a great team, very capable of returning to Omaha again this year. All in all, though, would prefer a blowout like this to get the blood boiling, as opposed to a heartbreaking loss in extra innings. Should be able to approach tomorrow's elimination game with a chip on our shoulder. OU's a GOOD team, though - they just couldn't string any hits together today against DBU. We'll need a strong pitching effort and some more disciplined at-bats to stay with them Saturday - otherwise, we're "2 & Q" for the weekend. ManiacAlum
Hey at least Elder's diving catch made ESPN's Top Plays. That was pretty cool.
tmh8286
Hey at least Elder's diving catch made ESPN's Top Plays. That was pretty cool. Now that's cool! The TCU player's catch at the wall to rob Baligod of a HR should have made it, too.
