orustatboy
On the women's side we play #6 UMKC and Valpo plays #5 Oakland.
tmh8286
Got it corrected. Stl VU Fan had the seedings correct in his final tally, but got the matchups turned around. Minor error, though. I appreciate all of the work he's putting into keeping us informed.
orustatboy
According to the Mid-Con, the UMKC women are now the #5 and Oakland is the #6 . . .
Stl VU Fan
Got it corrected. Stl VU Fan had the seedings correct in his final tally, but got the matchups turned around. Minor error, though. I appreciate all of the work he's putting into keeping us informed. I just checked and I don't see any contradiction between my seedings and my matchups. Help me out here? tmh8286
Under Final Seedings you have Oakland #5 and UMKC #6 (which I believe is the correct seeding). In the pairings, in game 3 you have UMKC #5 and in Game 4 you have Oakland #6.
orustatboy
StlVUFan has it right in his pairings ... UMKC wins the tiebreaker with Oakland by virtue of their sweep of Southern Utah (Oakland split with the T-Birds) and therefore becomes the #5 seed. Last night the conference office was reporting Oakland as the #5 and UMKC as the #6, but they corrected it this morning.
tmh8286
Uhhhhh . . . . How about this: Please see the Mid-Continent Conference web site for tournament game pairings and times: http://www.mid-con.com/ _
Stl VU Fan
Under Final Seedings you have Oakland #5 and UMKC #6 (which I believe is the correct seeding). Are you sure you're looking at the most up to date page (refresh maybe)? I just looked and I have UMKC 5 and Oakland 6.
tmh8286
I DID figure out the confusion - there are two lists of women's seedings on MIdConFans, both appear to have been done after the results of last night, but one has Oakland and UMKC one way, the other list has it the other. Since the one with the correct listing appears to be the more recent, I concede the error of my ways. Now please refer to my previous post!
