ORUTerry
Mike Brown's Blog - Tulsa Wordl (excerpt) 12/3/2010 1:36:00 AM ORU head coach Scott Sutton said he thought junior forward Dominique Morrison would make more 3-pointers sooner. “He really worked on it in the offseason. He got stronger and improved his range,” Sutton said. “I thought he would shoot more 3’s and I thought we would get him more shots, but I think he was 2-for-11 (before Thursday's game at Western Illinois). So that had been a little bit of a mystery.” Morrison made up for lost time by going 6-for-7 from behind the arc while scoring a career-high 35 points in the Golden Eagles' 71-58 win at WIU. “I was disappointed that I wasn’t making 3’s,” Morrison said. “I was getting good looks and they weren’t going in. But I didn’t doubt myself. I stayed positive. I felt that if they weren’t going in (on a particular night), they would fall the next night. Tonight, I made one, and then I made another one, and it started feeling good.”........... Link to rest of the story
