With her team down 81-70 with 3:14 to play, the 5-foot-6 former Booker T. Washington star scored eight of her team-high 30 points to key an 86-85 victory Tuesday night over crosstown rival Oral Roberts in front of 1,274 fans at the Mabee Center. Tulsa's victory allowed the Golden Hurricane to sweep the Mayor's Cup. The TU men's team defeated ORU 83-68 earlier in the day at the Reynolds Center....... theeagleman5 Posted November 18, 2010 Share Posted November 18, 2010 This is a tough loss...a bad loss to a mediocre team....hopefully, the ORU girls will learn from it and it will make them better equipped mentally to put a game away when they have the opponent down....an 11 pt lead with 3 minutes left at home can't be blown.....this team is well coached and has character....this won't happen again....
