A crowd of 3,718 fans, comprised mostly of area school children, saw the Golden Eagles pull away from the Mavericks in the final four minutes of the first half, building a 57-27 cushion. In their 2010-11 debut, Adair's Kevi Luper led the Golden Eagles with 28 points and five steals. Jordan Pyle was 8-of-12 from the floor and finished with 19 points. Jaci Bigham, a McAlester graduate, was next with 15 points, six assists and four steals. Georgia Jones had 11 points and eight assists. Savanna Buck and former Victory Christian standout Christian Key also had 11 points. In all, nine scored for the Eagles.
