Schlehuber's pinch-hit home run in the top of the eighth inning proved to be the difference as Oral Roberts defeated No. 7 Texas 3-2 on Tuesday at Disch-Falk Field. The win snapped ORU's 15-game losing streak to the Longhorns, and extended the Golden Eagles' winning streak to six. It just shows that even the best teams in the country (should we really call them that after lowly ORU beat them at home???) can have bush-league beat writers following them. Accordong to boydsworld.com, ORU's rpi is back to 84. Not bad for a lowly team, but not as good as we ultimately want to be. Great win for the good guys. Congrats!
