Bogus Smith Posted January 29, 2010 Share Posted January 29, 2010 ORU Notebook: Matchup due by: MIKE BROWN World Sports Writer ORU should learn its foe in this year's BracketBusters event (Feb. 19-20) early next week. Pairings for the 11 television games are to be announced Monday, with pairings for the remaining games from the 98-team pool to follow. The Eagles will play on the road this year, and if history is any indication, they'll draw a Missouri Valley Conference team or one from the Mountain Time Zone. ORU's previous BracketBusters foes were Missouri State (2005), Montana (2006), Utah State (2007) and Creighton (2008). Possible foes this year include Missouri State, Southern Illinois and Idaho. Hall of fame: ORU athletic trainer Glenn "Smitty" Smith is among six to be inducted into ORU's Athletic Hall of Fame at halftime of Saturday's men's game with South Dakota State.
