Kevi Super Luper scored a Summit League sinlge game record 44 points to dismantle LaSalle today. The ORU women started out sloppy on the offensive end as well as the defensive end. There were a total of 8 travelling calls on ORU in the first half alone. LaSalle hung tough for 30 minutes until ORU finally started to hit some shots. Luper was 19-25 from the field, 3-6 behind the arc, a perfect 3-3 from the stripe, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals!!! What an all around performance! Luper received Summit League player of the week last week, look for her to add another POW this week. Voelker also finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman Jaci Bingham was in double figures as well with 11 points.

This young lady must really be something special! It will be interesting to see how she adjusts as the season goes on, because teams are bound to make adjustments for her...

It's amazing to think about the two freshmen phenom's that we have at ORU now in Luper and McClintock...too bad we'll have to wait another year to be dazzled by Hunter...

Jeff, what a great game for Kevi and for the team. I noticed that the team shot 43% while Kevi shot 76%. Could you tell why the team was so cold? If it wasn't for Kevi, it looks like we would have had a hard time winning. Thanks for your insight and reporting on this game. Jerry seems to have a very special team this year - and most of it we get to keep for 3 more years!!
