As you may have heard, Typhoon Ondoy/Ketsana hit the philippines a few days back. Its been a real mess. Another ORU alumni and myself have been going door to door with food and supplies, but it is getting pretty bad. Over 380,000 people are in evacuation centers without homes, and that is just here in the Metro area. The death toll hit 240 just a bit ago, and there are countless missing. Today we were actually swimming into areas past our heads to take food to stranded victims. Prayer would help big time. As much as possible. The military is said to be on the way, but these people have been waiting on that promise for days...so who knows when that will really happen.
