ttowncount
Bogus et al inspired me to try and share some other pictures of things going on on campus. I curiously stopped by the Chapel today for an eye witness view of changes to the seating and stage. Also observed the new railing around the Prayer Gardens, lots of stuff going on in the gardens, and the piles of stuff all over the place reminding of the changes accomplished and still in progress. Hope the link works for you: http://community.webshots.com/album/573903238iryIRt?vhost=community
ORUTerry
Thanks for the pictures! It is great that so much progress is being made around campus. I have been told that their are plans for 'more visible' work to be done next summer. Not sure what that means. Glad to see the new upholstery on the chapel seats - could that be a precursor to new Mabee Center seats?
ORUalum
not a big fan of all the changes to the chapel. i know the pipe organ does not work, but i'm sorry to see they covered it up. also the stage has that mega-church look.

Now that is funny! I was just thinking that it looked a little more traditional, and could use a modern touch. Just goes to show you how individual perception affects every part of life. SOLO_Gold
Yeah I'm pretty disappointed in the design. This should be a no brainer for us, but instead we take a huge step backwards - who is being consulted on these things?!
