The Adair all-stater and Jim Thorpe Award girls basketball winner helped the East with 14 points, eight rebounds and five steals at ORU's Mabee Center, her home for the next four years. "I'm excited," Luper said. "I can't wait to play here for ORU. This has been such a fun week. I had no idea about the Jim Thorpe Award. This was the first I heard of it." ........
