Around the ORU family, Roberta is well known as the daughter of our Chancellor, Oral Roberts. Many also know that she has been a practicing attorney for the past nineteen years.  Roberta attended ORU earning an undergraduate degree in history with a minor in French.  In the meantime, she met and married fellow ORU student Ron Potts, from Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.  Eleven years after obtaining her undergraduate degree, Roberta commenced her law school education at ORU.  She graduated cum laude in 1987 and successfully completed the Oklahoma Bar Examination later that summer.  She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association.

In her law practice, Roberta concentrates in the area of personal injury and accident law.  She relates that representing people who have been injured in car accidents is a natural extension of her Christian witness.  "I'm one of the few attorneys in town who prays with her clients and believes with them for their healing."  Ron serves as the business manager for the law office and the couple enjoy working together.
