ORUalum Posted May 18, 2009 Author Share Posted May 18, 2009 thank you for all the kind comments and inclusion in your thoughts and prayers. to answer OT's question we are back to 12 month tours (thank you president obama). we should be back in the states in early 2010. i have a 90 day reintegration/stabilization period upon re-deployment and then it's back to the civilian world (THANK GOD!). the country is pretty tough Terry, but I'll take it over Iraq everyday of the week. we are in the mountains of eastern afghanistan at about 7500 ft elevation and the heat is nothing like Iraq, thankfully.
